AI employee marketing site

Gomer

Gomer is an AI employee that lives inside a team's Slack and Microsoft Teams, connects to thousands of business tools, and does the work — pulling reports, building dashboards, running campaigns, shipping code — rather than only answering questions. Volanta Labs designed and built its marketing site end to end: product positioning and messaging, information architecture, visual and interaction design, a token-driven design system, and the full front-end in React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The site is structured to move a visitor from “what is this” to “can I trust it” to “let's go” across home, product, enterprise, comparison and case-study pages.

What it does

  • Data-driven comparison framework — a new competitor page is a data task, not a rebuild
  • Filterable, outcome-forward case studies so buyers find a team like theirs
  • Enterprise page answering security, IT and procurement in plain language
  • Token-based design system the founding team can extend after handoff
  • Accessible throughout: semantic structure, ARIA, keyboard control, reduced-motion fallbacks

The challenge

The AI-assistant category is crowded, and every competitor claims to be smart. The site had to do three hard things at once: draw a sharp line between a chatbot that talks and a coworker that ships work, earn enterprise trust quickly — security, IT and procurement all weigh in before adoption — and prove the product with real customer stories rather than adjectives.

All of it had to be delivered by one person, as production code the client's team could keep extending after handoff.

What we built

The whole site is anchored on one idea — “Not a chatbot. A coworker.” — and that line shapes the copy and the structure, leading with concrete output instead of vague claims of intelligence. The information architecture walks a visitor from what is this, to can I trust it, to let's go, across home, product, enterprise, comparison and case-study pages.

Motion is used with restraint: an animated hero headline ticker, staggered logo reveals and smooth filter transitions, all respecting reduced-motion preferences.

How it works

Everything sits on a design-token foundation — CSS variables for colour, type, spacing and surfaces — so the site stays consistent, themeable and straightforward for the founding team to extend.

The comparison pages are data-driven: each “vs. competitor” page is defined as structured data and rendered through one shared component, so adding a competitor becomes a data task rather than a design-and-build cycle. The case-studies page turns scattered wins into a filterable, outcome-forward experience, and the enterprise page answers sceptics with a plain-language compliance and security story. Accessibility was built in throughout rather than retrofitted: semantic structure, ARIA attributes, keyboard-navigable controls and reduced-motion fallbacks.

The result

The site shipped as the client's production marketing presence and gave the startup a coherent story to point customers, investors and partners toward. The token system and reusable components left the founding team self-sufficient — new pages cost hours rather than days.
