How do you handle Amazon SP-API rate limits?
Volanta Labs runs marketplace synchronisation as background jobs rather than inside the request cycle. In Packit this is Sidekiq: order and inventory syncs are queued, retried on throttling, and processed on an interval, so a slow or rate-limited Amazon response degrades freshness rather than breaking the interface. This is the main architectural decision that separates a demo integration from one that survives production volume.
Can you build an Amazon repricing tool?
Yes. Volanta Labs built Price Optimizer Pro, an AI repricing platform for Amazon FBA sellers that detects when competing sellers run out of stock and raises prices accordingly, optimising for margin rather than only winning the Buy Box. It connects through the Amazon SP-API and provides a catalogue view across thousands of SKUs with per-listing cost, profit, margin, ranking and Buy Box status.
